What is an Advanced Manufacturing Incubator (AMI)?
A business incubator provides access to resources necessary to get your business ready to succeed. BADIR-AMI focus on new companies that want to get involved in manufacturing advanced materials, uses advanced manufacturing technology, or manufacturing processes that will result in new innovative products.
We do this so that our country can benefit from new technologies, innovative products, more job opportunities, and so that our people can become technology leaders.

Who can benefit from BADIR-AMI?
Any male or female entrepreneur who:
- Through scientific research developed a new product, process or material with good commercial potential
- Wants to manufacture a product in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that currently has to be imported. Such manufacturing needs to be done in a more cost effective way compared to imported product costs
- Have identified new products or technology developed outside of the KSA that would contribute towards the growth of a knowledge economy in our country by sharing the know-how and intellectual property related to that technology with the KSA
