On its current strategic course, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia wishes to transform its economy into a knowledge-based, technology economy that stimulates continuous innovation and development. Therefore the need to invest in a number of priority technologies and assist the development of its marketable science and technology applications that fulfills market and society needs.

The commercialization of technology through business spinoffs and the creation of small technology businesses is an effective instrument for economic growth. Advanced manufacturing technology is a key industrial sector to develop since it enables commercialization for other technology industry sectors, and creates many job opportunities.

Technology incubators are key elements in the innovation system of successful technology-based economies.
King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) has created a national technology incubator program (BADIR) which overseas many technology oriented incubators including this incubator.

Advance Manufacturing Incubator AMI is one of five incubators established under BADIR Program. It serves entrepreneurs interested in establishing new businesses based on one or more of the following:

• Advanced Manufacturing Processes
• Advanced Materials
• Innovative tangible products

In addition, all support businesses providing services related to Product Life Cycle are eligible for incubation. Our staff is very well selected to serve the clients and a visit to our incubator will open your mind to many great possibilities.

AMI Management Team

The AMI team consists of highly qualified and educated members. The team combined of professionals with an industrial experience and background. Their education covers the major aspects required for the incubation such as Engineering, Finance and Marketing. As a team, we promise that all information submitted as regards to your innovation and business is considered confidential and is to be released only to authorized personnel.

Ibraheem Al Zuhimeel is a Mechanical engineer with Master of Business Administration degree (Finance specialization) from Griffith university / Australia. His experience in design , manufacturing and marketing activities for different areas such as Material Handling and Spare Parts Industries . Currently, he is the Corporate Services Manager of Badir Program for Advanced Manufacturing Incubator.

Bander Alhossan has a Master of International Marketing and Master of Marketing Administration. He had worked at SIDF for 6 years as a Marketing Consultant. He used to evaluated projects with investment exceed SR 500 m. Currently, he works as Client Service Manager and willing to evaluated and assist your projects.
