About BADIR

BADIR is a KACST initiative to assist in converting research outcomes into small technology businesses. Its mission is to stimulate economic growth and Saudi employment in the Kingdom, through entrepreneurship, enterprise development and technology commercialization.

BADIR achieves its mission through the provision of mentoring, networking, training, business development services, physical and technology infrastructure and brokering access to finance for approved clients. Currently BADIR has five technology incubators that focus on:

  • Nanotechnology
  • Information technology
  • Biotechnology
  • Environment
  • Advanced manufacturing technology
